National reserve liferaft (floating life-saving equipment) is a type of liferaft made with a plastic shell and a buoyant core material.
Light rafts must be stored in a warehouse for materials, equipment, rescue, and relief with the following basic requirements:
- The warehouse must have walls, a roof to protect against sun, rain, storm, and a heat-resistant ceiling;
- The warehouse's floor must be flat, hard, and capable of bearing a minimum load of 3.0 tons/m2;
- The warehouse must be equipped with adequate ventilation fans to ensure that it is always dry and cool; temperature and humidity measuring instruments must be available;
- There must be a system to prevent birds, rats, termites, and other harmful organisms, as well as an adequate lighting system for preservation and protection tasks;
- It must be far from chemical sources, easily flammable and explosive areas, high-voltage power lines, and must minimize dust and heat radiation;
- There must be rules, means, and plans for fire prevention and fighting, and storm and flood prevention.
