Reporting Deadline on Bidding Activities

Circular 06 stipulates the deadlines for providing bidding information as follows:

- The provision of bidding information shall be carried out according to the law, except for the provision of information on handling legal violations and invitation for prequalification notices, which shall be carried out within 07 working days from the date of the Decision or the approval document, issuance of such information;- The provision of information on handling of legal violations on bidding shall be carried out within 02 working days from the date the Decision on handling legal violations on bidding is issued;- Notices inviting prequalification, expressions of interest notices, bidding invitations, price offer invitations, bidding cancellations, extensions, adjustments, and corrections to the announced information shall be carried out according to the schedule of selecting the contractor and must ensure the corresponding time regulations in bidding as prescribed by the law on bidding.

The deadline for periodic annual reporting on the implementation of bidding activities as specified in Circular 06 is as follows:

- The periodic annual report on the implementation of bidding activities by Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government of Vietnam, other Central agencies, Provincial People's Committees, State economic groups, and General Corporation 91 must be sent to the Ministry of Planning and Investment before February 01 of the year following the reporting period;- The periodic annual report on the implementation of bidding activities nationwide, compiled by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, must be submitted to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam before April 15 of the year following the reporting period.

Note that if the reporting deadlines above coincide with a weekly day off or a public holiday according to the labor law, the reporting time shall be the first working day after the day off or public holiday.
