Report on the Implementation of the 5-Year Energy efficiency plan in Vietnam before April 30 (Illustrative Image)

According to Article 8 of Circular 25/2020/TT-BCT, it is stipulated that before April 30 of the first year of each 5-year plan cycle, the facility is responsible for formulating an Energy efficiency plan for the next 5 years and reporting on the implementation of the previous 5-year plan, and submitting it to the local Department of Industry and Trade of Vietnam via the electronic information portal http://dataenergy.vn.

The 5-year plan and the report on the implementation of the 5-year Energy efficiency plan of the facility include the contents specified in Appendix II issued together with Circular 25/2020/TT-BCT.

The formulation, registration of the 5-year plan, and the report on the implementation of the 5-year Energy efficiency plan of the facility are carried out in the following order and procedure:

- The facility accesses the electronic information portal http://dataenergy.vn, and inputs data according to the steps and instructions on the information portal;

- In the event that the facility receives feedback from the Department of Industry and Trade of Vietnam requiring supplementation or correction, the facility must carry out the necessary supplementation, correction, and update the 5-year plan on the electronic information portal;

- The report on the implementation of the 5-year plan will be automatically calculated and updated through the National Energy Use Database based on the facility’s annual implementation report results.

Note: The facility is responsible for fully implementing the 5-year Energy efficiency plan after registration.

Detailed information is available at Circular 25/2020/TT-BCT, which comes into effect in Vietnam from  November 13, 2020.
