Here is the content stipulated in Circular 298/2017/TT-BQP issued by the Ministry of Defense providing guidelines for the implementation of policies and support for organizations and individuals tasked with searching for and gathering the remains of martyrs.
To be specific, the support levels for relatives or worshippers of martyrs who go to search for martyr graves are stipulated in Circular 198 as follows:
- Travel expenses are supported based on the distance from the place of residence to the units where the martyr participated in work or combat; a maximum of 3 people, once per year; specific expense levels per trip are as follows:- Distance less than 100 km: 150,000 VND/person;- Distance from 100 km to less than 300 km: 300,000 VND/person;- Distance from 300 km to less than 500 km: 500,000 VND/person;- Distance from 500 km to less than 1,000 km: 800,000 VND/person;- Distance from 1,000 km to less than 1,500 km: 1,100,000 VND/person;- Distance from 1,500 km to less than 2,000 km: 1,500,000 VND/person;- Distance 2,000 km or more: 1,700,000 VND/person.- Meal expenses are supported for a maximum of 3 people; duration not exceeding 5 days; the daily meal support is double the basic meal allowance of infantry non-commissioned officers and soldiers.
