Regulations on uniforms of some units of the People's Police in Vietnam (Internet image)

The Minister of Public Security issued Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA dated November 16, 2022 regulating badges, special work certificates, training uniforms, and combat uniforms of mobile police.

The uniform of some units of the People's Public Security is regulated as follows:

Unique ceremonial uniform of the Cavalry Mobile Police in Vietnam

According to Clause 1, Article 19 of Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA, the list of specific ceremonial costumes of the Cavalry Mobile Police unit includes:

- Cavalry helmet with Police insignia;

- Police signal;

- Top: collar wearing a pine branch; The shoulder of the shirt carries a shared rank with the cavalry logo; The two shoulders of the shirt have tassels; The left side of the shirt has a medal stem attached to it; The right side of the chest has the People's Police badge on it; The left sleeve has the Cavalry Mobile Police logo;

- Pine branches;

- Shared ranks with the Cavalry Mobile Police logo;

- Tassel accessories attached to the top of the shoulder;

- Medal stem;

- People's Police badge;

- Symbol of Cavalry Mobile Police;

- Ceremonial pants;

- High-top boots;

- Sock;

- Glove.

* Subjects using the special ceremonial costumes of the Cavalry Mobile Police: officers and soldiers performing ceremonies of the Cavalry Mobile Police.

Flight professional uniform of the People's Public Security Air Force in Vietnam

The list of professional flight uniforms of the People's Public Security Air Force is specified in Clause 1, Article 18 of Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA, including:

- Soft hat with Police badge;

- Police signal;

- Flying helmet lining.

- Top: on the right chest of the shirt, the People's Police number and the People's Police badge are attached; On the left side of the chest, the Vietnamese national flag is attached; The left sleeve has the Mobile Police symbol; Flying rank is worn on the shoulders;

- People's Police number;

- People's Police badge;

- Mobile Police symbol;

- Flight level;

- Winter flight jacket: combination leather material; The right side of the shirt has the People's Police number on it; The left chest has the Vietnamese national flag attached; The left sleeve has the Mobile Police symbol;

- Pants: detachable waistband, adjustable elastic straps on both sides, zippered pants door;

- Belt;

- Professional flight shoes;

- Sock;

- Summer flight gloves and winter flight gloves.

* Users of professional flight uniforms: pilots, flight crew members, and paratroopers.

Special performance costumes of the People's Police Ceremonial Troupe in Vietnam

(1) List of conductor's performance costumes

The conductor's performance costume list includes:

- Performance hat with Police badge;

- Police signal;

- Shirt: stylized motifs, wearing general performance insignia for the entire military band; The two shoulders of the shirt have tassels; The right side of the chest wears the People's Police badge; On the left chest of the shirt is a medal stem; The left sleeve has the symbol of the People's Police Ceremonial Team;

- Performance badge;

- People's Police badge;

- Medal stem;

- Symbol of the People's Public Security Ceremonial Delegation;

- Tassel accessories attached to the top of the shoulder;

- Belt;

- Performance pants;

- Performance shoes;

- Performance boots;

- Sock;

- Glove.

* Subjects using the Conductor's performance costumes: officers and soldiers who are Conductors of the Ceremonial Music Team of the People's Police Ceremonial Troupe

(2) List of musicians' performance costumes, including:

- Performance hat with Police badge;

- Police signal;

- Shirt: stylized motifs, wearing general performance insignia for the entire military band; The two shoulders of the shirt have tassels; The right side of the chest wears the People's Police badge; The left chest of the shirt carries a medal stem; The left sleeve has the symbol of the People's Police Ceremonial Team;

- General performance insignia for the entire military band;

- People's Police badge;

- Medal and medal stubs;

- Symbol of the People's Public Security Ceremonial Delegation;

- Tassel accessories attached to the top of the shoulder;

- Belt;

- Performance pants;

- Performance shoes;

- Performance boots;

- Sock;

- Glove.

* Subjects using musicians' performance costumes: officers and soldiers who are musicians of the Ceremonial Music Team of the People's Police Ceremonial Troupe.

(Clause 2, Article 20, Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA)

Circular 55/2022/TT-BCA takes effect on January 1, 2023, and replaces Circular 31/2014/TT-BCA.
