On national holidays; anniversaries of establishment, traditional days, political events of central agencies, organizations, localities, and people's armed units, the attire of officers, militia, and self-defense soldiers and the contingent of militia and self-defense forces is regulated as follows:
1. Officers and militia soldiers wear seasonal uniforms with ribbons or medal bars, as stipulated by the Commander of the provincial-level local military agency and the Military Command of ministries and central authorities.
- Male militia soldiers wear ribbons or medal bars on the left chest of the uniform, with higher-ranking ribbons or medals above lower-ranking ones, with no more than five per row. The upper edge of the first row of medal bars should be 5 cm above the top edge of the chest pocket flap. Wear badges on the right chest of the uniform, with the top edge 5 cm above the top edge of the chest pocket flap;- Female militia soldiers wear medal ribbons on the left chest of the uniform, with higher-ranking ribbons above lower-ranking ones, with no more than five per row. The top edge of the first row should align with the top edge of the highest button on the middle button row. Wear badges on the right chest of the uniform, with the top edge of the badge aligned with the top edge of the highest button on the middle button row;
2. The militia unit participates in parades on national holidays; commemorations of establishment days, traditional days, and political events of central and local agencies, organizations, and people's armed forces units.
- The head of the militia unit, militia flag bearers wear uniforms as those of militia officers and soldiers;- Militia units use traditional ethnic costumes, with head scarves or hats adorned with the militia star.
