Regulations on the renovation and investment in provincial reserve force training facilities in Vietnam - Illustrative image

Article 6 Decree 92/2020/ND-CP provides for the renovation and construction investment in provincial-level reserve training facilities, including: barracks, shooting ranges, training grounds, and other auxiliary works as approved by the Military Region and the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam.

Locations for the renovation and construction investment in provincial reserve training facilities include:

- Provincial Reserve Training Centers for provinces that already have them;

- Barracks and auxiliary works under the provincial Infantry Regiment;

- Barracks and auxiliary works under the military school of the Hanoi Capital High Command, Ho Chi Minh City High Command;

- Shooting ranges, training grounds, and auxiliary works under the management authority of provincial military agencies.

Furthermore, the authority to decide on the renovation and construction investment in training facilities is stipulated as follows:

- The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decides on the renovation and construction investment in provincial-level reserve training facilities as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree 92/2020/ND-CP after obtaining the consensus of the Minister of National Defense.

- The provincial military agency leads and coordinates with advisory bodies to prepare planning dossiers and invest in the construction of reserve training facilities based on the approved planning. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee makes the decision.

Detailed content can be found in Decree 92/2020/ND-CP, which comes into effect in Vietnam from August 18, 2020.
