To be specific, Circular 45/2018/TT-BLDTBXH requires the skills that learners must attain upon graduating from the college level in the Control Engineering and Automation, as follows:
- Proficiency in basic information technology as prescribed;
- Skillfully draw and assemble basic electrical-electronic circuits, controllers with peripheral devices;
- Design, install, calibrate, and operate automatic control systems in medium and small-scale industrial production, domestic systems;
- Proficiently operate and maintain power supply systems; lighting systems; grounding systems; electrical security and safety systems in industrial settings;
- Proficiently operate and maintain pneumatic control systems, hydraulic control systems;
- Program control systems using PLC, microcontrollers;
- Recognize, classify, select, and proficiently use sensors, measuring, and control devices;
- Operate smart city and smart home systems, industrial communication network standards
;- Use smartphones to control automated devices;
- Perform maintenance tasks, install, and set basic parameters of systems;
- Develop marketing plans, organize customer conferences;
- Inspect and evaluate work results ensuring compliance with procedures and standards at business and production establishments;
- Analyze and evaluate business performance results;
- Prepare various forms, reports, internal documents, and common contracts in business and service;
- Use computers, spreadsheets, the Internet for document processing, and presentations;
- Proficiently use common specialized tools;
- Communicate effectively through writing, presentation, discussion, and situation handling;
- Apply labor safety and environmental hygiene measures as prescribed;
