On January 14, 2019, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 02/2019/TT-BTC regulating the statistical reporting regime of the Finance sector.

Circular 02/2019/TT-BTC stipulates the financial industry statistical report forms as follows:

- The list of statistical reports in the financial sector issued together with Circular 02/2019/TT-BTC;- The statistical report forms specify in detail: Report name, reporting period, reporting deadline, reporting unit, report receiving unit, and report content. The system of report forms and explanations of report forms issued together with Circular 02/2019/TT-BTC;- The report form code includes numerical and alphabetical parts. The numerical part consists of 4 digits, the first 2 digits correspond to the statistical reporting field, and the last 2 digits are the sequential numbers from 01 to 99 used to number the report forms in each field; the alphabetical part includes 2 sections, the first letter is an uppercase abbreviation of the reporting period, the following letters are uppercase abbreviations of the reporting unit. For reports used to compile national statistical reports, the character ".QG" will be added at the end of the report form code.
