Regulations on Notaries of the Converted Notary Office

Decree 29/2015/ND-CP stipulates policies regarding notaries, public employees, and staff of the converted Notary Public Office as follows:

- Policies concerning notaries, public employees, and staff of the converted Notary Public Office shall be handled in accordance with the law applicable to the cessation of activities of public service providers.

- In cases where notaries of the converted Notary Public Office continue to practice at a Notarial Office, their employment contracts with the Notary Public Office shall be terminated, and they shall receive policy benefits as prescribed by law. Other notaries and public employees eligible for retirement or resignation shall receive policy benefits as per legal provisions.

- In cases where staff of the converted Notary Public Office continue to work at a Notarial Office, their employment contracts with the Notary Public Office shall be terminated, and they shall receive policy benefits as stipulated by law. Staff eligible for retirement or resignation shall receive policy benefits according to the law.

- The Department of Home Affairs presides and cooperates with the Department of Justice, the Department of Finance, and the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs to submit to the provincial People's Committee for the consideration and decision of policies for notaries, public employees, and staff of the converted Notary Public Office as specified in Clauses 1, 2, and 3 of this Article.
