Circular 45/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates the minimum knowledge volume for the Mechatronic Engineering Technology major at the college and intermediate levels. Details are as follows:

For the college level in Mechatronic Engineering Technology:

- Present issues on labor safety assurance and industrial hygiene;

- Present the 5S and Kaizen standards at the workplace;

- Analyze the operating process of production lines and mechatronic systems;

- Present the operating principles of elements in mechatronic systems;

- Describe the technical requirements in the operation process of mechatronic systems;

- Present the technological process of creating products on mechatronic systems;

- Explain geometric tolerance symbols and roughness in drawings;

- Present the utility, structure, application scope, and technical characteristics of devices in mechatronic systems;

- Explain symbols in mechatronic system assembly diagrams

- Present methods to correct positional deviations during the installation of mechatronic systems;

- Present the installation process of devices in mechatronic systems;

- Analyze steps in writing control programs for mechatronic systems;

- List common control programming languages for mechatronic systems;

- Present the structure of control programming statements;

- Analyze causes of common incidents in mechatronic systems regarding control software, control devices, and sensors;

- Present criteria and standards for constructing job completion schedules;

- List materials and supplies required for designing, manufacturing, and assembling mechatronic systems;

- Present evaluation methods and how to write job result reports;

- Present basic knowledge on politics, culture, society, law, national defense, security, and physical education as regulated.

For the intermediate level in Mechatronic Engineering Technology:

- Present issues on labor safety assurance and industrial hygiene;
