Regulations on approval and use of training materials for intermediate-level vocational education (Illustrative Image)

In Articles 14 and 15 of Circular 43/2010/TT-BGDDT, the approval and use of training materials for intermediate-level vocational education are regulated as follows:

1. Approval and use of training materials compiled by the school:

- Based on the conclusions of the Curriculum Evaluation Council compiled by the school, the school principal reviews and issues a decision to approve the use of the curriculum as the main material in teaching, learning, and research within the school. The decision must clearly state whether the curriculum is published for internal circulation or for wide distribution; periodically revise, supplement, and complete the content, and republish the curriculum to meet training requirements.

- Printing, publishing, and distributing the curriculum must comply with the Publishing Law, Intellectual Property Law, and current state regulations.

2. Approval and use of training materials selected by the school:

- Based on the conclusions of the existing Curriculum Evaluation Council, the school principal reviews and issues a decision to approve the use of the existing curriculum for teaching, learning, and research within the school. The decision must clearly state the use of the entire curriculum or specific content of each curriculum; periodically review and reselect the curriculum to meet training requirements.

- Besides the training materials selected by the school, teachers may use other training materials and materials to supplement and update knowledge for students, which must be approved by the Faculty Leadership or the Head of the Faculty-affiliated Department before use.

- The selection and use of existing training materials in the school must comply with the Intellectual Property Law, Publishing Law, and current state regulations.
