Regime of Leave for Professional Military Personnel and National Defense Public Employees

On August 23, 2016, the Ministry of National Defense issued Circular 113/2016/TT-BQP regulating leave policies for professional military personnel, defense workers, and public defense employees.

According to the regulations stipulated in Circular 113/2016/TT-BQP, professional soldiers, workers, and public defense employees are entitled to the following leave policies:

- Leave with full salary and allowances as prescribed by the Labor Code and the regulations of the Minister of Defense:

Also according to Circular 113/2016/TT-BQP, weekly, professional soldiers, workers, and public defense employees are entitled to leave on Saturdays and Sundays. For units that, due to the special nature and tasks, cannot take leave on Saturdays and Sundays, the unit commander has the authority to arrange compensatory leave for professional soldiers, workers, and public defense employees on another day of the week.
