The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued Decision 2314/QD-BCT on the plan for reducing procedures and the list of goods (along with HS codes) subject to specialized inspection under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the period of 2019 and with orientation until 2021.

Enclosed with this Decision are the Annexes detailing the plan to reduce administrative procedures for categories of products and goods as follows:
- Annex 1. List of group 2 products and goods to reduce specialized inspection procedures, with the plan being to eliminate the procedure requiring enterprises to submit a registration form for inspection confirmed by the inspection agency to clear customs.
- Annex 2. List of tissue paper and toilet paper products to reduce specialized inspection procedures, with the plan to draft a document abolishing the procedure requiring enterprises to submit a registration/result form for inspection confirmed by the inspection agency to clear customs.
- Annex 3. List of items to reduce specialized inspection procedures on food safety, with the plan to remove items from the list of food safety inspections.
- Annex 4. List of items to reduce specialized inspection procedures on energy efficiency, with the plan to simplify the specialized inspection procedures on energy efficiency in accordance with legal regulations on technical standards and product quality.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade assigns relevant agencies and units the responsibility to organize the implementation of the reduction plan for procedures and categories of goods as outlined in the above Annexes.
Decision 2314/QD-BCT officially takes effect from July 31, 2019.
