Receipt and Evaluation of Dossiers for the "For the Cause of Justice" Commemorative Medal

Circular 06/2018/TT-BTP was issued by the Ministry of Justice on June 07, 2018, providing specific guidance on the receipt and evaluation of dossiers for the commendation of the "For the Cause of Justice" medal.

Accordingly, Circular 06 stipulates the reception, appraisal of dossiers, and submission for the awarding of the Commemorative Medal as follows:

- Within 15 days from the date of receipt of a valid application for consideration of awarding the Commemorative Medal, the Emulation and Commendation Department is responsible for appraising the dossier and submitting it to the sector's Emulation and Commendation Council for review, except in cases decided by the Minister of Justice.- For non-conformable dossiers, within 03 working days from the date of receipt of the complete dossier, the Emulation and Commendation Department is responsible for notifying the submitting unit. Within 07 working days from the date of receipt of the notification, the submitting unit is responsible for completing the dossier and resending it to the Emulation and Commendation Department for appraisal.- No later than 05 working days from the date the sector's Emulation and Commendation Council of the Ministry of Justice meets to review or collect opinions from its members, the Emulation and Commendation Department completes the procedures as prescribed for submission to the Minister, except in cases decided by the Minister of Justice.
