Circular 172/2018/TT-BQP has been issued by the Ministry of National Defense to amend and supplement Circular 102/2016/TT-BQP stipulating the registration, management, and use of motor vehicles within the Ministry of National Defense.
The use of military vehicles is amended and supplemented by Circular 172 as follows:
- Commanders at all levels are responsible for the use of military vehicles within their managed agencies and units: Use the correct group of vehicles, for the right purpose, mission and standards, and norms.- Military vehicle operators must have a military driver's license; when participating in traffic, they must strictly comply with legal regulations and the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.- When operating overloaded vehicles, vehicles beyond the dimension limit, tracked vehicles, and transporting super-long and super-heavy goods on regular roads, the regulations of the Ministry of Transport must be followed.- Cargo trucks, tractors, trailers, and semi-trailers registered with military license plates by Army economic agencies and units must display information about the load capacity.- Military vehicles illegally transporting goods will have their goods and vehicles temporarily seized and handed over to the competent authorities for handling according to legal regulations.- …
