Prohibition on Providing False Judicial Record Information

Law on Judicial Records was enacted on June 17, 2009. The Law stipulates the management of the judicial record database. Several prohibited acts are specified in this document.

To be specific, according to the provisions of Article 8 of the Law on Judicial Records 2009, the following acts are prohibited:

First, unlawful exploitation, use, distortion, destruction of judicial record data.

Second, providing false judicial record information.

Third, forging documents requesting the issuance of a judicial record certificate.

Fourth, erasing, altering, forging judicial record certificates.

Fifth, issuing judicial record certificates with false information, beyond one's authority, or to the wrong person.

Sixth, unlawfully using another person's judicial record certificate, infringing on personal privacy.

More details can be found in the Law on Judicial Records 2009, which officially took effect on July 1, 2010.
