Prohibition Against Resisting or Obstructing Commune Police from Performing Official Duties

The Ordinance on Commune Police 2008Promulgated on November 21, 2008, the Ordinance on Commune Police 2008 stipulates the functions, duties, powers, organization, and operations of the Commune Police; the responsibilities of agencies, organizations, individuals, and policies towards the Commune Police. There are several prohibited acts specified in this document.

To be specific, according to the provisions of Article 8 of the Ordinance on Commune Police 2008, the prohibited acts include:

First, organizing or using the Commune Police force contrary to the provisions of the Ordinance.

Second, impersonating Commune Police.

Third, resisting or obstructing Commune Police in the performance of their duties.

Fourth, manufacturing, trading, or illegally using weapons, support tools, uniforms, and insignia of the Commune Police.

Fifth, taking advantage of performing tasks and exercising powers of the Commune Police to cause inconvenience, harass people, or infringe upon the interests of the State, rights, and legitimate interests of organizations and individuals.

Sixth, other acts of violating the law related to the organization and activities of the Commune Police.
