Professional training program for checking the implementation of health insurance policies in Vietnam

(1) Subjects of training

- Vietnam Social Insurance (Social Insurance) at the Central Government: Civil servants and employees of the Department of Inspection and Inspection;

- Social insurance of provinces and centrally run cities: Director/Deputy Director in charge of inspection and examination, health insurance assessment (health insurance); Inspector and Inspection Department officer; Officer of the Health Insurance Assessment Department.

(2) Training goals

* General objective

Equip and update regulations on medical examination and treatment under health insurance and skills in applying inspection procedures when inspecting the implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment under health insurance; Improve the capacity to perform tasks of the team of officials assigned to inspect the implementation of legal regimes and policies on health insurance.

* Detailed objectives

- Equip yourself with professional knowledge; update relevant regulations on inspecting the implementation of health insurance policies and regulations related to payment of drug costs and medical services; order, procedures, and methods of checking statistics and payment of costs of drugs, medical supplies, etc.;

- Fostering and training skills in organizing inspection of health insurance policy implementation (Skills for organizing inspection of assessment work, payment, and settlement of costs Health insurance medical examination at health care facilities; Skills in setting up a number of records, reports, etc.

- Contribute to enhancing the sense of responsibility in performing public duties and improving the working efficiency of officials assigned to inspect the implementation of health insurance policies.

(3) Program design method

The program is designed with an approach from general to specific, divided into three parts (knowledge; skills; review, test - evaluation).

(4) Training program

* Amount of knowledge, time, and form of training

- The program includes 05 teaching topics, divided into 3 parts:

+ Part I: Professional knowledge includes 04 topics with a total duration of 20 periods;

+ Part II: Skills includes 01 topic with a total duration of 08 periods;

+ Part III: Review and final exam with a total duration of 4 hours.

- Total training time is 04 working days with a total duration of 32 hours (8 periods/day), of which:

- Form of training: centrally or online according to the annual training plan approved by the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance.
