Professional Requirements for the field of Communication and Computer Networking (Intermediate level) in Vietnam (Internet image)

The requirements of knowledge and skills that learners must achieve after graduating from the field of Communication and Computer Networking at the intermediate level, as specified in Circular 21/2019/TT-BLDTBXH, are as follows:

Knowledge requirements:

- Demonstrate basic knowledge of computers.

- Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of computer networks.

- Identify the functions and operations of network devices in a system.

- Present the process of testing network devices and network communication.

- Accurately describe the structure and roles of network services, computer networking knowledge, and network administration.

- Describe the design and installation of wireless networks.

- List potential risks and security breaches and propose solutions to handle incidents; Classify viruses and antivirus software.

- Present the procedures for troubleshooting network cable, network infrastructure, network system, and network security.

- Explain technical specifications related to operating systems, network services such as DHCP, Web, Mail, FTP, and DNS.

- Determine the handover process and record work logs.

- Identify occupational safety standards.

- Present fundamental knowledge of computer technology, application programming; network programming methods, and smart device programming.

- Present knowledge of programming, information technology application development, and website design.

- Present knowledge of communication application construction and development.

- Present the application of social media and social networking, integrated marketing communication (IMC), in marketing.

- Present knowledge of multimedia communication.

- Present knowledge of politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, physical education as prescribed.

Skill requirements:

- Utilize applications on a network system.

- Design, build, and deploy network systems for small and medium-sized enterprises.

- Implement, install, and operate (administer) information systems for businesses.

- Maintain, repair, and upgrade the software and hardware of network systems.

- Create a list of access control policies applicable to objects in the system.

- Troubleshoot network system failures and maintenance policies.

- Develop simple applications on a network system.

- Maintain and troubleshoot wireless network system errors.

- Master network programming, smart devices.

- Build and develop communication applications, information technology applications, and customer-oriented websites.

- Apply social media and social networking, integrated marketing communication (IMC).

- Apply multimedia communication to create multimedia products that meet communication requirements.

- Utilize basic information technology as prescribed. Apply information technology to specific professional tasks in the sectors and works.

- Use basic foreign language skills and achieve Level 1/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework. Apply foreign languages to professional tasks in the sectors and works.
