Procedures for grant of permission to establish vocational education institutions in Vietnam

On October 14, 2016, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree No. 143/2016/NĐ-CP on requirements for investment and operation in vocational education.

According to Decree No. 143/2016/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, receipt of applications for permission to establish vocational education institutions is prescribed as follows:

- Each applicant shall submit an Application for permission to establish a vocational education institution to the assisting authorities;

- The assisting authorities shall take delivery of and verify applications before transferring them to the Board of Assessment;

- If the application is invalid, within 05 working days from the date of receipt, the assisting authorities shall inform the applicant in writing in which the incorrectness shall be specified;

- Within 05 working days from the date of receipt of a valid application, the assisting authorities shall transfer the application to the Board of Assessment.
