The procedure and timeline for resolving maternity benefit claims for employees in the Ministry of Defense are implemented as follows:
- Within 45 days from the date of returning to work, female employees or relevant employees are responsible for submitting their documents to the personnel department at the regiment level and equivalent.- In cases where employees have been demobilized, discharged, or have terminated employment before the date of childbirth, adoption, or accepting child custody, they need to submit their documents to the Social Insurance agency at their place of residence for consideration and resolution according to the authority.- Within 10 days from the receipt of valid documents, the employer must complete the resolution of the maternity benefits for the employee.- In cases where the submitted documents are not valid, the personnel department or Social Insurance agency must inform the employee in writing and clearly state the reasons.
