Currently, the military service health examination process is conducted in 2 rounds: the first round is the preliminary examination, and the second round is the detailed and specific examination.
Preliminary Examination
The preliminary health examination is conducted by the commune health station under the professional and operational direction of the district health center.
In this round, doctors will detect cases of insufficient physical health, physical deformities, abnormalities, and diseases that are exempt from military service registration, and investigate the personal and family medical history.

Detailed Examination
After the preliminary examination, in this round, doctors and specialists will conduct a thorough examination, comprising the following steps across 9 examination rooms:
- Physical examination room;
- Pulse and blood pressure measurement room;
- Vision and reflection examination room;
- Hearing, ear-nose-throat examination room;
- Dental-maxillofacial examination room;
- Internal medicine and neuropsychiatric examination room;
- Surgical and dermatological examination room;
- Laboratory room;
- Conclusion room.
At the end of this examination round, it will be determined who will be enlisted and who will be exempted. The results of the military service health examination will be categorized specifically. After that, those scheduled for enlistment will undergo a final health check.
