Principles for Providing and Receiving Information to Support Surveillance

Circular 28/2018/TT-BGTVT was issued by the Ministry of Transport regulating the provision of information to support guarding at road and railway intersections.

Circular 28 establishes the principles for providing and receiving information to assist with monitoring at intersections between roads and railways as follows:

- Enterprises operating railway infrastructure shall provide information to assist with monitoring to organizations and individuals in order to perform tasks at intersections between roads and railways on the national railway that require monitoring.- Owners of specialized railway lines shall provide information to assist with monitoring to organizations and individuals in order to perform tasks at intersections between roads and the specialized railway lines that require monitoring.- Local authorities where the railway passes through, according to the decentralization and authorization of the provincial People's Committee, and organizations and individuals assigned to monitor level crossings and unauthorized crossings are required to receive information to assist with monitoring from the aforementioned organizations and individuals.
