Preliminary designs for open-pit mining constructions in Vietnam

In 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam promulgated Circular 26/2016/TT-BCT prescribing the formulation, appraisal and approval of mineral mine construction investment projects and construction designs and cost estimates.

According to the provisions of Circular 26/2016/TT-BCT, the preliminary design drawings of a mineral mining project include but are not limited to the following drawings:

3   Typical geological cross-section, scale 1/1,000; 1/2,000 or 1/5,000  
III   Mining Technology Section
1   Mining and waste disposal maps for the year reaching design capacity, scale 1/1,000 or 1/2,000 or 1/5,000  
2   Maps of the end of mining and waste disposal, scale 1/1,000 or 1/2,000 or 1/5,000  
IV   Mineral Processing Technology Section  
1   Mineral processing technology diagram  
2   Layout drawing of the processing line and equipment, scale 1/1,000 or 1/2,000 or 1/5,000  
V   Industrial Site Section
1   General mine site plan (scale 1/2,000 or 1/5,000 or 1/10,000)
