Policies for Union - Association Officers Who Are Students

The Union - Association is considered the core organization of the young generation; Union - Association officials are the leaders and the ones who ignite the flame for the youth. For this reason, the State always pays attention and allocates specific policies for these subjects, primarily for officials who are students and pupils.

To be specific, according to the provisions of Article 3 of Decision 13/2013/QD-TTg, officers of the Youth Union and Associations who are students shall enjoy the following policies:

- Priority in adding points to the assessment results of training according to the Regulation on assessing student training results by the Ministry of Education and Training;- Priority consideration for scholarships, job recommendation, and additional support for working and studying conditions based on the capability and actual situation of each school;- Annually, officers of the Youth Union and Associations who are students and have excellently completed their tasks are commended and rewarded. The funding for organizing commendations and rewards for the officers of the Youth Union and Associations is arranged in the total annual budget allocated to the Youth Union and Associations;- Monthly or yearly support for operation expenses. Based on specific conditions, the school shall stipulate the level of support for operation expenses for each position of the Youth Union and Association officer.

In addition, these officers also receive a number of other policies such as:

- Facilitation in terms of time and reimbursement of travel expenses when participating in Youth Union and Association activities as convened by higher authorities in accordance with current legal regulations;- Facilitation for enhancing professional and vocational qualifications;- Priority in dormitory accommodation;- Youth Union and Association officers with continuous service of 03 years or more who have excellently completed their tasks are given priority consideration for recruitment when taking exams for official positions or applying for public employee recruitment;- The school is responsible for arranging appropriate office space and facilities to ensure the effective operation of the Youth Union and Associations.

Additionally, Decision 13/2013/QD-TTg also details the policies for Youth Union and Association officers who are lecturers, teachers, and other individuals concurrently engaged in Youth Union and Association work in Article 2 and Article 4.
