On August 21, 2024, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision 2457/QD-BVHTTDL on the organization of the "Mid-Autumn Festival 2024."

The content of the activities planned for organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 is as follows:

(1) Display space "Mid-Autumn Festival through Toys"

Mid-Autumn Festival toys are not merely for entertainment but also serve as educational tools, nurturing the souls of the younger generations. They are silent and profound messages and blessings from our ancestors to encourage learning and achievement.

A traditional Mid-Autumn Festival setting always brings a plethora of emotions as it evokes memories, childhood, and roots.

The "Mid-Autumn Festival 2024" sets up an exhibition area featuring traditional toys: lantern star wheels, lion heads, paper scholars, paper masks, carp lanterns, star lanterns, 'to he', cotton swans, frog drums... vibrant and colorful.

* Implementing unit: Vietnam Cultural and Artistic Exhibition Center.

(2) Entertainment and experience activities

(2.1) Guidance and experience in traditional crafts, toy-making, and handicrafts

Children will hear about the history of craft villages, watch passionate artisans at work, and make lovely products such as pottery shaping, pottery painting, mosaic art, handmade knitting, folk art painting, sandal-making, pressed flower art, traditional cake baking...

* Implementing unit: Vietnam Cultural and Artistic Exhibition Center leads, in cooperation with Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam JSC, Vietnamese Craft Villages Center of Excellence, Foreign Relations and International Relations Center, Phu Lang Hand-Kiln Ceramic Association, DChiaki Art Creation Academy, Latoa Folk Art, Pham Quang Xuan Rubber Sandal Business, Hoa Tien Beocade, La Muse Quilt, artisans from traditional craft villages.

(2.2) Art experiences

- Circus - Variety show: Children can practice performing suitable circus acts such as unicycle riding, balancing on rollers, balls, bamboo ladders; stilt walking, juggling, hula hooping; artistic balloon...

* Implementing unit: Vietnam Cultural and Artistic Exhibition Center leads, in cooperation with Vietnam School of Circus and Variety Arts.

- Puppet art: Artists perform and guide children through fun, unique, and captivating dry and water puppet acts.

* Implementing unit: Vietnam Cultural and Artistic Exhibition Center leads, in cooperation with Vietnam Puppet Theater.

- Singing, dancing, music, fashion for children: helping children develop skills, awaken talents, and create a healthy playground after stressful school hours.

* Implementing unit: Anh Duong Center for Arts and Talent Development.

(2.3) Sports activities

- Participating in chess - the sport of intellect.

- Traditional martial arts performances, lion dance - dragon dance.

* Implementing unit: Vietnam Cultural and Artistic Exhibition Center leads, in cooperation with The Reed Chess, Huynh Long Son Martial Arts School, Thang Long Vinh Xuan Kungfu School...

(2.4) Propaganda activities, fire safety guidance, firefighter experience

Participate in useful activities on fire prevention and control; guide skills in case of fire, rescue, first aid. These are valuable lessons to help children calmly respond to fire incidents that may occur anytime, minimizing damage.

* Implementing unit: Vietnam Cultural and Artistic Exhibition Center.

(2.5) "Books and Childhood" display and experience area

- Display, introduce, and guide children to love reading.

- Free reading space.

* Implementing unit: Coral Books and Media Corporation, Tri Viet Bookstore.

(2.6) "Touching the World of Colors" experience

Children immerse themselves in the vibrant palette of the art world to draw their desired destinations and explore new things.

- Art experience on dinosaur eggs; explore prehistoric footprints.

- Street sketching.

- "My Favorite Colors" art experience.

- Painting wooden panels, assembling wooden mosaics.

* Implementing unit: Dai Viet Sculpture and Lighting Company, Anh Duong Center for Arts and Talent Development, artists, artisans.

(2.7) “Safe Driving” guidance and experience

- Propagating road safety knowledge to children; guiding safe driving skills, practicing on a mock-up terrain.

- Organizing mini-games on the relevant theme.

* Implementing unit: Thanh Hai Company (HEAD Thanh Hai).

(2.8) Learning, cognitive, creative games, and assembly experiences

Handicrafts; super memory challenges, mini-games with prizes; logic thinking with smart educational toys; mini model assembly, Rubik's cube-solving guidance...

* Implementing unit: CVI Pharmaceutical JSC, Vui The Kit, International English - Math Logical System, Puzzlia - Korea Smart Toy System, Rubik Community, Nguyen Dung Model Shop.

(2.9) Children's play area

- Children can play with outdoor exercise equipment, trains, airplanes, bouncy castles...

- Organizing traditional games: mandarin square capturing, flag capturing, bamboo stick jumping, blindfolded catching goats, stilt walking, sack jumping, hopscotch… attracting children to participate, making them more agile and clever.

- Implementing unit: Vietnam Cultural and Artistic Exhibition Center, Anh Duong Center for Arts and Talent Development.

Time for guided experience and interaction:

Morning: 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM, afternoon: 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM, evening: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
