On September 27, 2024, the Minister of Justice of Vietnam issued Decision 1787/QD-BTP along with the Plan for Organizing Activities in Response to National Digital Transformation Day 2024.

The theme of National Digital Transformation Day 2024 for the Ministry and the Justice sector is: Popularize digital infrastructure and create digital applications to develop the digital economy - New motivation for economic growth and labor productivity.

The activities in response to National Digital Transformation Day within the Ministry and the Justice sector will be concentrated in October 2024.

The plan includes the following activities in response to National Digital Transformation Day 2024 of the Ministry of Justice:

- Placing Standees to promote National Digital Transformation Day at the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam's headquarters

+ Implementation period: October 2024.

+ Implementing unit: Information Technology Department.

+ Coordinating unit: Youth Union of the Ministry of Justice.

+ Product: Standees placed at the buildings of the Ministry's headquarters.

- Placing the National Digital Transformation Day identity kit on the Portal, Vietnam Law Newspaper

+ Implementation period: October 2024.

+ Implementing unit: Information Technology Department.

+ Coordinating units: Vietnam Law Newspaper, Democracy and Law Journal, the Portal for Dissemination and Legal Education.

+ Proposed product: The National Digital Transformation Day identity kit is placed on the Portal of the Ministry of Justice, Vietnam Law Newspaper, Democracy and Law Journal, and the Portal for Dissemination and Legal Education.

- Encourage officials and public employees of the Ministry of Justice to respond on cyberspace by changing their profile pictures with the National Digital Transformation Day identity frame (avatar frame)

+ Implementation period: October 2024.

+ Implementing unit: Information Technology Department.

+ Coordinating units: Youth Union of the Ministry of Justice, units under the Ministry.

+ Proposed product: Profile pictures with the National Digital Transformation Day identity frame changed on cyberspace.

- Organizing a cybersecurity drill and incident response at the Ministry of Justice

+ Implementation period: October 2024.

+ Implementing unit: Information Technology Department.

+ Coordinating units: Units under the Ministry will send staff according to the summons (Invitation letter) from the Information Technology Department to attend the Conference (or Drill).

+ Proposed product: Cybersecurity drill and related news and articles posted on the Ministry of Justice's Digital Transformation Portal, the Ministry of Justice Portal; Vietnam Law Newspaper; Democracy and Law Journal; the Portal for Dissemination and Legal Education; component portals/websites of the Ministry's Portal; on social media platforms managed by units under the Ministry.

- Piloting registration and guidance on using digital signature services according to the SIM-based signing model

+ Implementation period: October 2024.

+ Implementing unit: Information Technology Department.

+ Coordinating units: Selected units under the Ministry for trial implementation.

+ Proposed product: New digital signature accounts that can be signed on mobile devices and remote signing; news and communication articles about this event are posted on the Ministry of Justice's Digital Transformation Portal, the Ministry of Justice Portal; Vietnam Law Newspaper; Democracy and Law Journal; the Portal for Dissemination and Legal Education; component portals/websites of the Ministry's Portal; on social media platforms managed by units under the Ministry.

- Organizing Conferences and Seminars on Digital Transformation

* Conference: “Implementing Digital Transformation in the Justice Sector and the Role of Leaders.”

+ Implementation period: In October 2024.

+ Implementing unit: Information Technology Department.

+ Coordinating units: Units under the Ministry.

* Seminar: “Application of AI Technology to Serve Digital Transformation in the Justice Sector.”
