Based on Decision 1492/QD-BGDDT dated May 27, 2024, of the Minister of Education and Training on the establishment of the inspection team of Leadership Delegations from the Ministries and the National Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam in Vietnam, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) of Vietnam issues the Plan for Inspections by Leadership Delegations from the Ministries and the National Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam in Vietnam in 2024​ with the following contents:

(1) Contents of Inspection

- Inspect the actual preparation for the Exam at certain exam sites; exam paper printing and distribution areas, exam grading areas...

- Inspect the preparation and organization of the High School Graduation Exam in Vietnam in 2024​ of the Provincial Steering Committee.

(2) Inspection Locations

- Team 1

Provinces in the Red River Delta and northern Central region: Hanoi City, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Ha Nam, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien Hue.

- Team 2

Provinces in the Mekong Delta and Ho Chi Minh City: Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, An Giang, Tien Giang, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Long An, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Ben Tre.

- Team 3

Provinces in the South Central, Central Highlands and Southeast regions: Da Nang City, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, and Tay Ninh.

- Team 4

Provinces in the midland and northern mountainous regions: Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Bac Kan, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Hoa Binh, Quang Ninh.

The teams of Leaders of Ministries and the National Steering Committee will:

- Inspect exam preparation work:

+ Teams will proactively select and schedule inspections of 2 to 3 localities as assigned in Section II Part B of this Plan. The specific time and locality will be determined by the team leader within the period from June 8, 2024 to June 17, 2024.

+ Notify the localities to be inspected of the team's inspection plan.

+ Report to the Minister, the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam on the inspection results, and any recommendations (if any) before the meeting of the Minister and the National Steering Committee with the localities (Appendix of memorandum templates, recommendations; inspection minutes, and inspection results report attached).

+ Settle the team’s expenses with the Ministry's Office according to regulations.

- Inspect the exam supervision and grading:

+ Only the team led by a Deputy Minister - Head of the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam will be arranged to perform inspection tasks for exam supervision and grading at localities nationwide, specific localities to be decided by the team leader.

+ Notify the localities to be inspected of the team's inspection plan, and settle expenses as per regulations.
