What are the current regulations on the adjustment on the petrol and oil prices in Vietnam? - Phuoc Lam (An Giang, Vietnam)

On February 13, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Official Dispatch 639/BCT-TTTN on petrol and oil businesses. Thus, from 3:30 p.m. on February 13, 2023, petrol prices increased by more than 500 VND/liter.

Specifically, after adjusting the setting up and spending levels for the use of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund, the selling prices of popular consumer petroleum products on the market after 3:30 p.m. on February 13, 2023, are adjusted as follows:
- E5RON92 petrol: no higher than 22,869 VND/liter (increase by 540 VND/liter);
- RON95-III petrol: no higher than 23,767 VND/liter (increase by 620 VND/liter);
- 0.05S diesel oil: no higher than 21,562 VND/liter (decrease by 962 VND/liter);
- Kerosene: no higher than 21,594 VND/liter (decrease by 982 VND/liter);
- Fuel oil 180CST 3.5S: no higher than 13,636 VND/kg (decrease by 298 VND/kg).
According to Official Dispatch 639/BCT-TTTN, the level of deduction for setting up the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund is regulated as follows:
- E5RON92 petrol: 0 VND/liter;
- RON95-III petrol: 0 VND/liter;
- 0.05S diesel oil: 600 VND/liter;
- Kerosene: 200 VND/liter;
- Fuel oil: 200 VND/kg.
The Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund is not in use.
