This is the content stipulated in Decree 90/2016/ND-CP regulating opioid addiction treatment with substitute medications.
To be specific, in addition to receiving free substitution medication, participants in opioid addiction treatment are entitled to the following preferential policies:
- The state budget ensures full coverage of health check-up fees and opioid addiction treatment costs for individuals undergoing such treatment in compulsory rehabilitation centers, prisons, temporary detention centers, compulsory educational institutions, and juvenile schools.- The state budget ensures partial coverage of health check-up fees and opioid addiction treatment costs for participants in the following categories:- War Invalids;- Individuals suffering from chemical exposure with a labor capacity reduction of 81% or more;- The poor;- Elderly people who are lonely and have no place to rely on;- Orphans;- Those with severe and especially severe disabilities.
