People's Army Publishing House must have long-term publishing plans

This content is detailed in Circular 98/2014/TT-BQP which promulgates the publishing regulations within the People's Army of Vietnam.

Circular 98/2014/TT-BQP specifies that the publishing activities of the People's Army Publishing House must be carried out in accordance with the following regulations:

- A long-term publishing plan (from 3 to 5 years) on publication topics must be formulated as a basis for organizing the drafting and annual publishing plans.- The annual publishing plan is built on the basis of topics in the long-term plan and the annual plans of agencies and units, topics arising from the practical requirements of publishing activities (that can be organized) in the planning year.- The additional publishing plan within the planning year can only be implemented for topics that already have a draft manuscript.- The long-term publishing plan and the annual publishing plan must be approved by the Chief of the General Political Department before registering with the Publishing Department.- Reporting timeline for the publishing plan:

- Long-term plan: No later than October 20 of the year preceding the first year of the next long-term planning period;- Annual plan: Before November 20 of the year preceding the planning year;- Additional plan: Before the 20th of March, June, and September of the planning year. In necessary cases, due to task requirements, there will be an unexpected additional plan.
