Overview of Traffic Violation Penalties in 2019 that Motorcyclists and Car Drivers in Vietnam Need to Know

When participating in traffic, whether accidentally or intentionally, we may commit common traffic violations such as driving in the wrong direction, failing to use turn signals when changing direction, etc. Usually, for motorcyclists in Vietnam, the fine for this behavior is 350,000 VND. What is the basis for the competent authorities to impose this fine? Is this fine lawful or not?
