On February 07, 2025, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of Vietnam approved Resolution 1403/NQ-UBTVQH15 regarding the approval of the proposal by the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy concerning the organizational structure of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Organizational structure of the Supreme People's Procuracy in Vietnam from February 7, 2025

The proposal of the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy regarding their organizational structure is approved, which includes:

(1) The Inspection Committee;

(2) The Office;

(3) The Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Security Cases;

(4) The Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Social Order Cases;

(5) The Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Economic and Corruption Cases;

(6) The Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Drug Cases;

(7) The Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Judicial Cases;

(8) The Department of Prosecution and Adjudication of Criminal Cases;

(9) The Investigation Agency of the Supreme People's Procuracy;

(10) The Department of Supervision of Detention and Execution of Criminal Judgments;

(11) The Department of Supervision of Civil Cases;

(12) The Department of Supervision of Administrative, Commercial, and Business Cases;

(13) The Department of Supervision of Civil Judgment Execution;

(14) The Department of Supervision and Resolution of Complaints and Denunciations in Judicial Affairs;

(15) The Department of International Cooperation and Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters;

(16) The Department of Legal Affairs;

(17) The Department of Personnel Organization;

(18) The Department of Crime Statistics and Digital Transformation;

(19) The Department of Finance;

(20) The Inspection;

(21) The University of Prosecutorial Studies (including the Campus of the University of Prosecutorial Studies in Ho Chi Minh City);

(22) The Institute of Prosecutorial Science;

(23) The Legal Protection Newspaper;

(24) The Central Military Procuracy.

Previously, the organizational structure of the Supreme People's Procuracy was as follows:

(1) The Inspection Committee of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

(2) The Office of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

(3) The Department of Practicing Prosecution and Investigation of Security Cases.

(4) The Department of Practicing Prosecution and Investigation of Social Order Cases.

(5) The Department of Practicing Prosecution and Investigation of Economic Cases.

(6) The Department of Practicing Prosecution and Investigation of Drug Cases.

(7) The Department of Practicing Prosecution and Investigation of Corruption, Abuse Cases.

(8) The Department of Practicing Prosecution and Investigation of Judicial Activity Infringement, Corruption, Abuse Cases in Judicial Activities.
