Organizational Structure of the Supreme People's Procuracy

The People's Procuracy has the duty to protect the Constitution and the law, to protect human rights, citizens' rights, to protect the socialist policies, to protect the interests of the State, the lawful rights and interests of organizations and individuals, contributing to ensuring that the law is strictly and uniformly enforced.

The Supreme People's Procuracy consists of the following components:

- Procuracy Committee;- Office;- Investigation Agency;- Departments, bureaus, institutes, and equivalents; training and fostering institutions, press agencies, and other public service providers;- Central Procuracy.

In which:

- The Supreme People's Procuracy includes the positions of Chief Procurator, Deputy Chief Procurators of the Supreme People's Procuracy, Procurators, Inspectors; Heads, Deputy Heads of the Investigation Agency, Investigators; other officials, public employees, and other workers.- The Procuracy Committee of the Supreme People's Procuracy includes the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy; Deputy Chief Procurators of the Supreme People's Procuracy; Some Procurators of the Supreme People's Procuracy are decided by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly based on the recommendation of the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy.- The Central Procuracy includes the Procuracy Committee; Office; Investigation Agency; Departments and equivalents. The Central Military Procuracy has a Chief Procurator, Deputy Chief Procurators, Procurators, Inspectors; Heads, Deputy Heads of the Investigation Agency, Investigators, other military personnel, officials and public employees, and other workers. The Procuracy Committee of the Central Military Procuracy includes the Chief Procurator, Deputy Chief Procurators, and some Procurators.

In judicial activities, the Supreme People's Procuracy exercises the prosecutorial power in criminal proceedings and exercises this right from the moment of resolving crime denunciations, criminal information, and prosecution petitions, throughout the process of prosecution, investigation, prosecution, and trial of criminal cases.

The judicial activity supervision function includes supervising the legality of acts and decisions of agencies, organizations, and individuals in judicial activities and is exercised from the moment of receiving and resolving crime denunciations, criminal information, and prosecution petitions, throughout the process of resolving criminal cases; in resolving administrative cases, civil cases, marriage and family cases, business, commercial, labor cases; in enforcement of sentences, resolving complaints and denunciations in judicial activities, and other judicial activities according to the provisions of the law.
