The Ordinance on Environmental Police 2014 was issued on December 23, 2014. It stipulates several prohibited acts.
To be specific:, according to the provisions of Article 6 of the Environmental Police Ordinance 2014, the prohibited acts in this field include:
- For the Environmental Police:- Acts prohibited under the provisions of the Law on People's Public Security;- Intentionally overlooking crimes and administrative violations related to the environment, resources, and food safety;- Abusing the performance of duties and powers of the Environmental Police to cause trouble, harass, or infringe upon the interests of the State, human rights, or the lawful rights and interests of agencies, organizations, and individuals.- For agencies, organizations, and individuals:- Resisting or obstructing the Environmental Police in the performance of official duties;- Impersonating the Environmental Police;- Bribing, offering bribes, or engaging in acts that incite, lure, or coerce the Environmental Police to commit acts contrary to the functions, duties, and powers of the Environmental Police;- Retaliating, threatening to retaliate, or obstructing witnesses, whistleblowers, complainants, or their relatives in reporting, complaining, declaring, and handling crimes and administrative violations related to the environment, resources, and food safety.
