From December 20, 2020, when the Decree No. 130/2020/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government on controlling asset and income of persons holding titles and powers in agencies, organizations and entities takes effect, officials must provide information on assets and income upon request within 5 days.
Specially, according to Article 7 of the Decree No. 130/2020/NĐ-CP of the Vietnam’s Government, deadline for information provision of agencies, organizations and individuals are as follows:
- Requested party must provide information at request within 5 working days from the date of receiving request;
- In case requested information is complicated information or currently unavailable, the deadline shall be 15 working days from the date of receiving request.
Besides, in case of inability to provide information promptly due to objective reasons, the requested party must solicit the requesting party in writing to consider. Requested party must comply with decisions of requesting party.
Thus, according to this regulation, officials must provide information on assets and income upon request within 5 days. In particular, in case requested information is complicated information or currently unavailable, the deadline shall be 15 working days from the date of receiving request.
Persons having the rights to request information on assets, income (hereinafter referred to as “requesting party”) to serve monitoring assets, income, developing plans for verification and verifying assets, income shall include:
- Heads and vices of asset, income controlling bodies;
- Heads of asset, income controlling teams.
