Observance of the Establishment Date of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the People's Army

To be specific, the organization of the establishment day of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 03, 1930), and the birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890) in the People's Army is carried out as follows:

Odd-numbered years ending in 5, and other years:

- Units do not hold commemorative meetings; they organize propaganda, education, emulation activities, visual propaganda, cultural, arts, sports activities; participate in memorial ceremonies and incense offerings to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh organized by local authorities;- News agencies and press within the Army open special pages and columns to propagate and report on the event;- Cultural and artistic units produce and perform art programs, organize exhibitions, and screen films for the military and the public;- In special cases, the General Department of Politics will provide specific implementation guidance.

Round-numbered years:

- Units will arrange for the military to follow the programs broadcast live by Vietnam Television or the Voice of Vietnam covering the national-level commemorative Ceremony;- The General Department of Politics will develop plans, direct, and guide the organization of commemorative activities within the Army;- Units will develop plans and organize commemorative activities, focusing on propaganda, traditional education, visual propaganda, cultural, arts, sports activities; promote emulation activities, achieve merits in celebration of the event; organize gratitude and appreciation activities;- Other activities to be organized as in odd-numbered years ending in 5, and other years.
