Nutrition regimen for coaches and athletes in the Vietnam People's Public Security

On May 11, 2015, the Ministry of Public Security issued Circular No. 19/2015/TT-BCA stipulating certain policies for coaches, athletes, and physical training and sports activities within the Vietnam People's Public Security.

Article 9 of Circular 19/2015/TT-BCA stipulates that coaches and athletes, during the days of concentrated training under the decision of the competent authority, are entitled to nutrition regimen (calculated in money) with the specific rates as follows:

No TEAM LEVEL DAILY FOOD RATE
1 Ministry-level team 150,000
2 Ministry-level youth team 120,000
3 Ministry-level gifted team 90,000
4 Teams of police units and localities participating in the all-force People's Police competition 120,000
5 Coaches and athletes participating in sports events organized by police units and localities 90,000

Additionally, coaches and athletes on competition days are entitled to nutrition regimen at the following specific rates:

1 Ministry-level team 200,000
2 Ministry-level youth team 150,000
3 Ministry-level gifted team 120,000
4 Teams of police units and localities participating in the all-force People's Police competition 150,000
5 Coaches and athletes participating in sports events organized by police units, localities, and sports competitions organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces, centrally run cities 120,000

Notably, this Circular establishes 03 principles for receiving nutrition regimen, specifically:

- Coaches and athletes who are officers, soldiers, and police employees, during their training, competing period enjoying nutrition regimen as stipulated in this Circular, shall not receive meal policies, hazardous duty allowances, special allowances, or other specific allowances (if any).

- Competitions not in the physical and sports activity plan of the Ministry and local units shall not implement the nutrition regimen stipulated in this Circular.

- nutrition regimen for police coaches and athletes participating in national team training, competing for the national team or other competitions (not organized by the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam or police units, localities) organized by localities, federations, associations shall be implemented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam or localities, federations, associations.
