Norms for uses of automobiles serving general work of the People's Armed Forces under the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam

Decree 85/2018/ND-CP was issued on May 30, 2018. This Decree regulates the standards and norms for the use of automobiles in People's Armed Forces units, including: automobiles for the duties of certain positions; automobiles for general duties; and specialized automobiles in Vietnam.

According to Article 4 of Decree 85/2018/ND-CP and the contents in Appendix I issued together with Decree 85/2018/ND-CP, the norms for the use of automobiles serving the general tasks of People's Armed Forces units under the Ministry of National Defense (Hanoi, Vietnam) are regulated as follows:

2 Military Regions, Military Services, Border Guard Command, Coast Guard Command 10 officers per vehicle
3 Corps, Branches, Hanoi Capital Command, Ho Chi Minh City Command, President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command, Command 86 10 officers per vehicle
4 Command of: Provincial Military Command, Centrally Governed City's Military Command, Provincial Border Guard, Centrally Governed City's Border Guard 05 vehicles per unit
5 District Military Command Offices; district-level towns; provincial-level cities, centrally governed cities 01 vehicle per unit
6 Academies, Senior Military Schools, Research Institutes and Research Centers under the Ministry; Academies, Universities, Senior Military Schools under General Departments, Military Services, Border Guard Command 35 officers per vehicle
7 Colleges, Technical Schools, Military Schools and equivalents 03 vehicles per unit
8 Special-class Hospitals 07 vehicles per unit
9 First-class Hospitals 05 vehicles per unit
10 Second-class Hospitals 04 vehicles per unit
11 Third-class Hospitals 03 vehicles per unit
12 Regiment-level Warehouses, Brigade-level Warehouses 02 vehicles per unit
13 Prison Camps, Detention Centers 01 vehicle per unit
14 Art Troupes 01 vehicle per unit
15 Convalescence Units 01 vehicle per unit
16 Defense Enterprises 05 vehicles per unit
17 Combat Units: Naval Region Commands, Coast Guard Region Commands, Divisions, Brigades, Regiments and equivalents and other specific cases as prescribed by the Minister of National Defense regarding the number of vehicles to perform tasks.
