2. What are the types of specialized automobiles used in the healthcare sector in Vietnam?
Based on Article 16, Clause 1 of Decree 72/2023/ND-CP (amended by Decree 96/2023/ND-CP), the list of specialized automobiles used in the healthcare sector includes:
(1) Ambulances:
- Ambulances that meet the standards prescribed by the Ministry of Health.
- Ambulances with special structures (vehicles with spacious interiors equipped with medical machinery and equipment for emergency and critical care services).
(2) Specialized automobiles with special structures used in the healthcare sector, including:
- Mobile X-ray vehicles.
- Mobile eye examination and treatment vehicles.
- Mobile laboratory vehicles.
- Mobile surgical vehicles.
- Blood collection vehicles.
- Vaccine and biological product transportation vehicles.
- Other automobiles designed specifically for medical examination, treatment, disease prevention, control, and testing activities.
(3) Specialized automobiles equipped with specialized equipment for healthcare activities, including:
- Vehicles used for the care and protection of the health of middle and senior officials.
- Vehicles for transporting blood and various types of medical samples, including pathological samples, infectious samples, food samples, drug samples (including vaccines and biological products), and samples related to environmental health.
- Vehicles for transporting patients.
- Forensic investigation vehicles and vehicles for transporting corpses.
- Vehicles for carrying spraying machines and mobile chemicals.
- Vehicles for retrieving and transporting tissues and organs for transplantation purposes.
- Vehicles for delivering meals to psychiatric patients.
- Vehicles for transporting specialized medical equipment, supplies, and devices used in the field of infectious diseases.
- Vehicles with teaching models, simulation models, teaching equipment, and visual aids.
- Other automobiles equipped with specialized equipment specifically for medical examination, treatment, disease prevention, control, and testing activities.
