On September 16, 2024, the General Director of Vietnam Social Security issued Decision 1642/QD-BHXH on the Regulation of operations for the Zalo account of Vietnam Social Security.

1. The Newest procedures for editing and publishing information on Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account

According to Article 10 of the Regulation issued with Decision 1642/QD-BHXH in 2024, the procedures for editing and publishing information on Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account are carried out as follows:

The Administration Committee is responsible for approving or removing information and data on Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account, according to the process:

- Editors receive information from authors and collaborators, edit and propose updates, and post information on Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account to the Head of the Electronic Portal Management and Multimedia Communication Department, Media Center - Member cum Secretary of the Administration Committee.

- The Head of the Electronic Portal Management and Multimedia Communication Department, Media Center - Secretary of the Administration Committee reviews and provides feedback requesting the editor to make corrections (if any changes are needed).

- The Head of the Electronic Portal Management and Multimedia Communication Department, Media Center - Secretary of the Administration Committee submits it to the Head of the Administration Committee or the Deputy Head of the Administration Committee authorized by the Head of the Administration Committee to manage the content for consideration and decision on posting the information.

- After receiving feedback from the Administration Committee, the editor finalizes and posts the information on Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account.

- In case information needs to be removed from Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account, the Head of the Electronic Portal Management and Multimedia Communication Department, Media Center - Secretary of the Administration Committee submits it to the Deputy Head for decision-making.

2. Types of Information posted on Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account (Latest)

According to Article 10 of the Regulation issued with Decision 1642/QD-BHXH in 2024, the types of information posted on Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account include:

- Organizational structure, functions, and tasks of Vietnam Social Security.

- Information on Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Voluntary Insurance policies.

- Documents related to policies and laws on Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Voluntary Insurance.

- Information on activities implementing Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Voluntary Insurance policies; activities of the leaders of Vietnam Social Security.

- Information on administrative procedures, electronic transactions, public services in the field of Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Voluntary Insurance.

- Support information, responses, and solutions to issues encountered by organizations and individuals regarding policies and implementation of Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Voluntary Insurance.

- Issues of public concern related to the activities of Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Voluntary Insurance under the jurisdiction of Vietnam Social Security.

3. Storage Regime of information posted on Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account

The Storage Regime of information posted on Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account is regulated in Article 12 of the Regulation issued with Decision 1642/QD-BHXH in 2024 as follows:

- The Administration Committee of Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account must ensure the preservation of all content information (originals, copies, drafts) in accordance with the current regulations of the State.

- The electronic information and data of Vietnam Social Security's Zalo account must be stored in accordance with the current regulations of the State.

More details can be found in Decision 1642/QD-BHXH, which comes into force in Vietnam from September 16, 2024.
