1. Newest forms of exploitation and use of the land information and data in Vietnam

According to the specific provisions of Article 59 Decree 101/2024/ND-CP, the exploitation and use of land information and data in Vietnam are carried out in the following forms:

- Exploitation online on the national land information portal, national public service portal, public service portal of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, provincial public service portal, via SMS messaging service, via web service and API; exploitation through utilities and applications creating products and added value from the national database on land according to regulations.

- Direct exploitation at the office of the agency providing land data or the Reception and Result Delivery Department for administrative procedures.

- Exploitation through other forms as prescribed by law.

2. Fees for providing land information and data services from the National Land Information System in Vietnam

Fees for exploiting and using land documents and the price for providing land information and data services from the National Land Information System in Vietnam are regulated in Article 62 Decree 101/2024/ND-CP as follows:

- Fees for exploiting and using land documents from the National Land Information System are implemented according to regulations on collection rates, collection policies, payment, management, and use of fees for exploiting and using land documents from the National Land Information System issued by the Ministry of Finance.

In cases where land documents are not available in the National Land Information System, the fees for exploiting and using land documents follow the regulations on fees and charges.

- The price for providing land information and data services from the National Land Information System is carried out according to regulations on the price of products and added value services using information from the database issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

- The exploitation and use of land information and data announced according to the regulations in Decree 101/2024/ND-CP do not require a fee for exploiting and using land documents.

- Exemptions and reductions of fees when exploiting and using land documents from the National Land Information System are implemented according to regulations on fees and charges.

For purposes of national defense, security, and disaster prevention, exemptions and reductions are granted according to the law; free for ministries, central authorities, and local authorities when connecting and sharing the national land database with other national databases, databases of ministries, central authorities, and local authorities to share land information and data for the operation of government agencies and administrative procedure resolution, simplifying administrative procedures for citizens and businesses according to the regulations of the Government of Vietnam on management, connection, and sharing of digital data of government agencies.

- Exploitation and use of land documents upon request require a fee or the price of providing added value products and services using information from the database, the National Land Information System. Exemptions and reductions of fees, charges for exploiting and using land documents are implemented according to the provisions in Clause 4, Article 62 Decree 101/2024/ND-CP.
