According to the provisions of Circular 45, regarding the implementation of support policies for women from poor households who are ethnic minorities when giving birth according to population policy, the General Department of Population - Family Planning has the following responsibilities:

- Guide and organize the implementation of the support policy;- Inspect, supervise, and monitor the implementation of the support policy;- Assist the Minister of Health in compiling annual reports to the Government of Vietnam on the results of the implementation of the support policy; periodically summarize and conclude the implementation of the support policy nationwide;- Consolidate and report to the Minister of Health any difficulties and obstacles during the implementation process to propose amendments and supplements to Circular 07.
