According to current regulations, inspectors of the Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs sector are officials of the state inspection agency in the Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs sector, appointed to various inspector ranks to carry out inspection tasks and other duties as assigned by the Head of the state inspection agency. These include: inspectors of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry Inspectorate) and inspectors of the Inspectorate of the Department of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam.

In Clause 1, Article 1 of Circular 16/2019/TT-BLDTBXH, amending Article 5 of Circular 14/2015/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that the School for Training and Retraining of Labor and Social Affairs officials shall take the lead and cooperate with the Ministry Inspectorate and relevant agencies in developing training programs and materials for specialized inspectors in the Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs sector. The Ministry Inspectorate shall take the lead and cooperate with the School for Training and Retraining of Labor and Social Affairs officials in developing and implementing the training plan for specialized inspectors in the Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs sector.
This Circular retains the following provisions:
- Officials and staff participating in specialized inspector training are awarded certificates according to the prescribed form.
- The funding for organizing specialized inspector training is allocated in the annual state budget expenditure estimate.
- The funding for officials participating in specialized inspector training belongs to their respective agencies.
