On November 12, 2018, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree No. 155/2018/NĐ-CP on amendments to some articles related to business conditions under state management of the Ministry of Health.
Decree No. 155/2018/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government annulled some documents and regulations on food safety. Specifically, the documents and regulations below are annulled:
- Article 2, Chapter I, Chapter IV and Chapter V of Decree No. 67/2016/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government on requirements for food manufacturing and trading under specialized management of the Ministry of Health.
- Clause 2c, Article 5 of Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government on elaboration of some articles of the Law on Food Safety.
- Circular No. 15/2012/TT-BYT of the Minister of Health providing food safety requirements applied to food manufacturers and sellers.
- Circular No. 16/2012/TT-BYT on food safety conditions applicable to food manufacturers and sellers and food packing instruments and materials under the management of the Ministry of Health.
- Circular No. 26/2012/TT-BYT of the Minister of Health on granting of food safety certificates for manufacturers and sellers of functional food, food with micronutrients, food additives and food processing aids; still mineral water, bottled water; food packaging instruments and materials under the management of the Ministry of Health.
- Circular No. 30/2012/TT-BYT of the Minister of Health on food safety conditions applied to street food vendors.
- Circular No. 47/2014/TT-BYT of the Minister of Health providing guidance on management of food safety of food and beverage establishments.
- Clause 1 and 3, Article 14, clause 1 of Article 15 of Circular No. 43/2014/TT-BYT of the Minister of Health on management of functional foods.
