Need to Organize Post-Inspection of Recruitment Activities in Military Schools

The content is stipulated in Circular 17/2016/TT-BQP issued by the Ministry of National Defense on March 11, 2016, detailing the recruitment work into military schools.

The organization of post-inspection for admissions work in military schools is regulated by Circular 17 as follows:

- After the successful candidates have enrolled, the schools organize inspections and post-inspection of admission results for all successful candidates according to the university and college admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;- Conduct checks and comparisons of candidate photos in the preliminary dossier, photos in the enrollment dossier, and the person enrolling must match and be the same person. Verify the academic results and conduct records in the candidate's high school transcript;- Directors (Principals) of the schools are responsible for organizing post-inspection of the entire enrollment process of their units before the start of the new academic year.

Note:

- During the implementation process, if any suspicious issues are detected, investigations and verifications must be carried out to clarify; in case of violations, reporting and close coordination with the functional agencies of the Ministry of Defense and external functional agencies should be undertaken to propose solutions;- With a written agreement from the competent investigative agency, the Directors (Principals) of the schools will decide to return candidates violating the admission regulations to their units or localities.

Additionally, Circular 17 also stipulates that at the end of the enrollment period, the schools must compile a list of candidates entering the initial course, report to the Military Admissions Committee of the Ministry of Defense for verification, as a basis for schools and functional agencies to manage the conferment (promotion) of military ranks and the issuance of graduation diplomas upon completion.
