National Remote Sensing Metadata Content

Circular 09 stipulates for raw image data, level 2A and 3A image products, including the following information:

- Name of the satellite;- Name of the sensor;- Name of the image scene;- Shooting mode;- Processing level;- Shooting date;- Shooting time;- Cloud coverage;- Incidence angle;- Solar altitude;- Solar azimuth angle;- Geometric accuracy (if any);- Ground resolution;- Number of bits;- Latitude of the image center;- Longitude of the image center;- Latitude of the Northwest corner; Longitude of the Northwest corner;- Latitude of the Northeast corner; Longitude of the Northeast corner;- Latitude of the Southeast corner; Longitude of the Southeast corner;- Latitude of the Southwest corner; Longitude of the Southwest corner;- Image location diagram;- Quick view image;- Remote sensing data management agency (name of the organization/individual, address, phone number, email).

For level 3B image product data, including the following information:

- Sheet number;- Combination method;- Spectral bands used;- Scale;- Ground resolution (m);- Image format;- Number of bits;- Geometric accuracy;- Reference system;- Projection zone;- Central meridian;- Latitude of the Northwest corner; Longitude of the Northwest corner;- Latitude of the Northeast corner; Longitude of the Northeast corner;- Latitude of the Southeast corner; Longitude of the Southeast corner;- Latitude of the Southwest corner; Longitude of the Southwest corner;- Quick view image;- Names of the scenes used/date of acquisition;- Producing agency or organization;- Acceptance date;- Remote sensing data management agency (name of the agency/organization, address, phone number, email).
