The 2014 Social Insurance Law stipulates a change in the calculation of pensions from 2018, thus the monthly pension amount will also change. Therefore, to help members accurately know their monthly pension amount, Thu Ky Luat introduces the pension table for workers applicable from 2018.

Important Notes when Reviewing the Table:

- Depending on the retirement phase, the monthly pension of employees will differ, thus the pension table will update the pension levels according to the following phases:

- Retirement from January 01, 2018 – December 31, 2018;- Retirement from January 01, 2019 – December 31, 2019;- Retirement from January 01, 2020 – December 13, 2020;- Retirement from January 01, 2021 – December 31, 2021;- Retirement from January 01, 2022 onwards.

- Monthly pension amount = (Pension percentage) x (Average monthly salary on which social insurance is paid)

The average monthly salary on which social insurance is paid is calculated according to the provisions of Article 62 Social Insurance Law 2014.

Regarding the pension percentage, each year of retirement before the stipulated age reduces the pension by 2%. If the retirement age has a fractional period up to 06 months, the reduction is 1%, from over 06 months, there is no reduction in the percentage due to early retirement.
