Monthly allowance for servicemen, discharged from the army from 2022

Monthly allowance for servicemen who have served and been discharged from the army since 2022 (Artwork)

Specifically, according to Article 3 of Circular 22/2022/TT-BQP , from January 1, 2022, an increase of 7.4% on the monthly allowance of December 2021, according to the following formula:

Subjects of application of the above-mentioned increased adjustment level include:

+ Soldiers who have served or been discharged from the army are enjoying the monthly allowance according to the provisions of  Decision 142/2008/QD-TTg  dated October 27, 2008; Decision 38/2010/QD-TTg dated  May 6, 2010.

+ Soldiers and people doing cipher work are entitled to the same salary as servicemen who have served, discharged or quit their jobs and are enjoying the monthly allowance according to the provisions of Decision 62/2011/QD-TTg dated September 9/ 11/2011.

Thus, the monthly allowance after being adjusted to increase, specifically as follows:

+ From full 15 years to under 16 years, the allowance level is 2,031,000 VND/month;

+ From full 16 years to under 17 years, the allowance level is 2,123,000 VND/month;

+ From full 17 years to under 18 years, the allowance level is 2,217,000 VND/month;

+ From full 18 years to less than 19 years, the allowance level is 2,309,000 VND/month;

+ From full 19 years to less than 20 years, the allowance level is 2,400,000 VND/month.

Departments of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of provinces and centrally-run cities shall adjust and pay monthly allowances according to the above guidance for subjects who have had decisions to receive monthly allowances before the 16th. May 2022.

At the same time, the General Department of Politics directs the Policy Department to adjust the allowance according to the above guidance for those who have decided to receive the monthly allowance from May 16, 2022 onward.

Circular 22/2022/TT-BQP takes effect from May 16, 2022 and replaces  Circular 106/2019/TT-BQP .
